Creativity meets craftsmanship in this $120 million, LEED-Gold certified building. Anchoring the main gallery is a twenty-foot-wide “Chain of States” design in terrazzo with the names of the first 13 colonies in waterjet-cut Rosso Levanto marble, set in the field prior to pouring of terrazzo and polished with the floor. The ground floor centers on a skylit central interior court with a terrazzo floor in a timeless two-color checkerboard pattern with brass divider strips, and a dramatic elliptical staircase in precast terrazzo.
The T. Yorie Corp. received a National Terrazzo & Mosaic Association Honor award in 2018 for our terrazzo work in this magnificent center of American history.
