Free Library of Philadelphia, Parkway Central Branch Stacks Renovation

The stacks served as the “heart” of the 91-year-old library, stretching 10 stories from the basement to the mezzanine and accommodated over a million books. The stacks were removed & new terrazzo floors were installed matching in pattern and color of the existing 90 year old terrazzo floor. The overall project was awarded Best Project” in 2020 by ENR MidAtlantic in the renovation/restoration.
