The T. Yorie Crop was part of this $150 million project. The project included a new Baggage Claim Building to serve the American Airlines Terminal & to expand and renovate the existing Terminal F. The two story baggage claim hall is light-filled and dynamic space, showcasing a 5-color terrazzo pattern throughout. The project was awarded the AIA Honor Award for the design of the Baggage Claim by the Philadelphia Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. The terrazzo finish played a role in achieving a LEED Gold rating under the LEED 2009 for New Construction Rating System.
